I am honored to be apart of this lovely collaboration! Jeff, Nakia, Heather and Myself all got together in Saratoga Spring, New York for a fun fashion shoot including fun hair, fun makeup with a beautiful model!
Heathers hair is naturally black but decided to change it up strictly for this shoot and I think the depth of rich color makes it irresistible! Two words come to mind when I see this kind of hair… backcombing and volume. I am firmly convinced that bigger is better for fun shoots like this!
Her makeup look was achieved using bright pastels. For the eyes, I used a vibrant pastel green right on the center of the lids, and used a darker green toward the crease. I lined the top lash with a black gel liner, and then added some FAUX lashes to the entire lid to get a full dramatic wispy look.

Ombre hair is the trend that won’t quit. I am loving this color bug trend and believe that you don’t necessarily have to go as dramatic as the photos above. You can always opt to go more simple blond ombre and just add the color bug to the parts you want. The color bug makes me really wish I had blond hair so I could go crazy with all the color. I personally would not color bug my hair everyday but I sure think it is a fun way to change up your look from time to time. I am lovvvvving it!!
